The town reflects a unique blend of Hindu and Buddhist traditions, evident in its architecture, lifestyle, and religious sites. Home to over 5 million people, the Kathmandu Valley features seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including iconic temples and palaces such as Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and the Durbar Squares of its three main cities. The valley is renowned for its rich Newar culture, beautiful traditional architecture, vibrant festivals, and centuries-old history.
